Tisserand Tea Tree Organic Essential Oil is a powerful, bracing and antibacterial oil with a fresh herby aroma. Extracted from the green leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia, it is thought that Tea Tree gained its modern name from English explorer Cpt James Cook, whose crew drank infusions of the plant to treat scurvy. Massage: Dilute the essential oil first. To do this mix up 5 drops of pure essential oil, or blend of oils per 10ml (1 tablespoon) of vegetable oil or lotion blending base.
